Car on fire!

Last night, something happened!

We live on the country side, so there's not very much traffic on the road outside. Across from our home (about 400 meters away) there's a shooting range, and a lot of suspicious cars tends to stop there. Probably burglars checking out when the people living around here work and so....

Anyway...

I had already gone to bed, when I heard my mom talk to my dad. She said that there were two cars going really slow, so it might be burglars or someone with a broken car or something. But then they stopped by the shooting range, which is even more suspicious.
A few minutes later my mom saw fire and that the other car driving off.
So my dad took the car and went out to take a look.

By that time I got up, because I was so curious and worried that I couldn't sleep.
So, my mom and I sat by the window and watched for almost an hour, as my dad fetched our neighbour who owns the land were the shooting range is. About 20 minutes or so later, the police and the fire fighteres came too.

It turned out that my dad's cousin, who's a police, was there too... XD It's quite interesting how you sometimes end up meeting unexpected people... (My dad's cousin is more of a traffic police..)

My dad looked up who the owner of the car was, and the car comes from the neighbourhood where my sister lives. The last months there's been a lot of reports about burning cars and so there, so this guy might be a victim. Or he's just trying to scam the insurance-company.

I didn't get to bed until ten to 1 or something... And then I got up at half past eight this morning, just in case someone would call me about work.
But so far, no work... >__<
